Entrance requirements:

Applicants holding vocational education certificate and (or) higher education (degree), or enrolled in vocational and (or) higher education programs are eligible for admission.

Russian language proficiency required for enrollment – C1 or above

Audience:

All foreign nationals interested in teaching Russian as a foreign language

Contents:

Module 1. Modern Russian as a foreign language:

- phonetic system of Russian language

− vocabulary and word formation of Russian language

− grammatical system of Russian language: morphology and syntax

− Russian case: rules and usage

- concept of the Russian verb

 

Module 2. Methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language:

− speaking

− listening

− reading and writing

− teaching Russian as a foreign language at different levels

− problems of testing Russian as a foreign language (TORFL)

 

Module 3. Innovative technologies in teaching Russian as a foreign language:

- prospects for synchronous online communication in teaching practice

- edutainment as a modern technology for teaching foreign students

- simulators for teaching Russian as a foreign language

- Infographics in teaching

- Web-quest as a modern technology of teaching Russian to foreign students

 

Module 4. Methods of organizing and conducting classes of Russian as a foreign language:

− teaching in a specific audience

- review of textbooks, Internet resources and educational platforms

− basic requirements for the lesson of Russian as a foreign language

− types of lessons of Russian as a foreign language

− Basic models of teaching Russian as a foreign language
